Extreme exhaustion

What are you ladies doing to fight exhaustion? I'm not necessarily talking sleepiness. I'm awake and my eyes aren't drooping, but I just can't lift a finger. I'm really getting tired (excuse the pun) of absolutely no motivation to do anything.

What do you do for that extra burst of energy? I feel like I'm wasting away being a slug.

Re: Extreme exhaustion

  • snacks, walks, lots of water, and a nap!

  • Sleeping every extra second I canEmbarrassed.

  • Like PP mentions, water and a quick nap seems to help me

  • Honestly I am just sleeping as much as I can. I took 2 naps this weekend and went to bed early. Of course I don't have another child, so I am able to do things like that where you might not be. I just try reminding myself the second tri will be at the end of next month, and with Christmas it will be here before I know it. Also I try to remember that I could always be vomiting several times a day and I have been fortunate enough to not have any m/s so far.

I'm just not forcing myself to do something because I feel I should, but only when I find the energy to. DH will just have to make up the slack.

  • there's a way to cure this???????????????????????
  • I think it's beyond our control.  It sucks.  It's a good thing DS helps out with DS and around the house when I just can't make myself do it, but of course he doesn't do it to the extent that I do but I'm getting to the point that I just.don't.care.
  • No advice but I am so with you!

  • A nap, even if it's small and I HATE being woken up but after I get past the 'leave me alone I want MORE sleep' stage, I usually feel better than I did before the quickie nap.
