Hi Ladies! This is my first month charting and I have a question about alcohol. I drank alcohol 2x this month and the following morning had very low temperatures the day after I drank (which caused a big drop from the day before). I have been reading that alcohol increases temp readings but was wondering if any of you had drops the day after drinking? Thanks for you help!     I think it all depends on how much you consume, etc.  Once this month I got so drunk I vomitted, had a MAJOR peak the next AM.  However, I drank casually the whole time we were in Mexico and my temps seemed normal.

    I'm still a charting dummy but I have a glass of wine at least 3 nights per week. It doesn't seem to bother my temps at all.  How much did you drink those nights?

    You need to link to your home page, I can't access your chart with that link.

    But my temperatures seem to be lower after I tie one on, too.  I was under the impression that alcohol was a depressant and therefore lowered body temperature.

    I'm not sure about the answer to this, but I had 2 drinks on Saturday night and a temp drop on Sunday. I was expecting the opposite too.
