We have a heartbeat after 5 days of bleeding

After bleeding (brown when i wipe) for the past 5 days, I went in and had an ultrasound this morning and we have a baby with a heartbeat. I am only 6 weeks along and the doctor said if I had come in yesterday we may not have seen the heartbeat or baby. I am relieved for now. Will go back in end of next week for 8 week ultrasound/appt.  Hope all is well for now.  The doctor told me to not work out and no sex until bleeding has stopped for 2 days.
