I had an early US at 6 weeks because by betas were high, so they wanted to r/o multiples again. On that US, the tech found a subchorionic bleed. She told me not to worry to much about it. I had another routine US today. Today the tech told me that the bleed looked "different" than last time. When I asked her if it was bigger or smaller, she just repeated "different". Has anyone else had this? When did it resolve?
Re: Subchorionic bleed anyone??
I had one at 12 weeks with DS. I bled like I had a very heavy period for a day or so when it burst. I spotted for 4 weeks after that. At my 19w ultrasound they couldn't see it anymore.
GL to you.
Honestly, I don't know. What I experienced what waking up to period like bleeding and thinking I was m/cing. They diagnosed the SCH with an ultrasound in the ER when I went in.
Since you know ahead of time that you have one, I can't say what it means for you, sorry. But brown blood means old blood, so it's possible you had a small SCH and it's just leaving you slowly.
But, I would still go get checked out if you do start to bleed more or red. Just to be on the safe side.
But I do know there are others who have had this and have healthy LOs now, so keep your head up.

I just had an ultrasound today b/c of a small amount of red blood yesterday and brown spotting since. They told me that I may keep spotting and/or my body will reabsorb it. She said if it was going to affect the pregnancy, it most likely would have done so by now.
GL!
