Re: XP: Newbie TTC in Dec 09

  • Good luck!

DH and I "tried" for two months...with no luck. Then we decided in Jan 09 that we wouldn't "try" that month because we had just bought a house and were focused on fixing it up. That is the month we got pregnant. Don't focus so much on "trying"..just have fun Stick out tongue Pretty sure my daughter is the result of drunkin bday sex!

  • Have lotsa good sex :-) haha, jk (well not really actually)

Sounds like you're headed in the right direction. We had sex every other day from CD 10 to CD 16 (I ovulate on 13) and we got KU the first cycle we tried.  I also used OPK's and checked my CM (I didn't "chart" though b/c I worked night shift 3 nights a week and it made my charts wacky).

    Good luck :-)

  • And I agree with the not stressing about "trying."

  • Honestly it may sound cheesy but enjoy it, enjoy this time, and try your best to live in the present. You'll see all of us break down at one point or another thinking that it was just yesterday that we were walking down the aisle, or just yesterday that we got our BFP, or trying anything we could find to jumpstart labor and now we're sitting here with our babies.... it's truly UN-fathomable....

So take our advice and live in the present moment, don't "plan" so much (we did all the charting and everything imaginable and it still took us 9 mos to get pregnant, it was when I finally relaxed that it happened), know your body which it sounds like you should now after the charting and just sit back and let things happen the way they are meant to happen. It's going to be the ride of your life.... buckle up ;)
