Naps?

My Lo will only nap during the day while being held. The minute I lay her down she may lay there for 5 minutes and then is up crying again. Somehow she is already STTN around 10 hours every night so I haven't been too concerned. However, it would be great if she would nap atleast once a day laying down somewhere. Any suggestions?

    Can you wear her, so at least your hands are free?  I have days when that's the best I can do.

    I agree...slings work great!! My little guy wants to be held all the time too. What also works is sometimes his papasan. Him being propped up..he likes that. Or put her in the infant car seat...drive around the block and take her out and leave her in it. He always falls asleep in that and when we come home if he is sleeping we leave him in it until he wakes up or has a dirty diaper.

    DD always naps better if I keep her super busy while she's awake.  We read, play on the mat, play with toys, sing etc.  By the time I'm done with her, she can barely keep her eyes open ;)    If we lay low while she's awake, she almost never naps ...

    DS sleeps fine in his crib @ night but will only sleep on me or in his swing during the day.
