For the year before my wedding, I waxed. And it hurt like crazy!! After the wedding we moved out of state and I haven't gotten up the nerve to try waxing again. Mostly because I had developed a relationship with my wax girl and I don't feel like starting a new intimate relationship. So currently I'm a shaver.

I used to wax but my skin was really sensitive and it would get all peely and be really sore. I tried a couple different places and numbing cream but it just wasn't for me. I shave my bakini line but use a buzzer for the lady. It doesn't get as close as shaving but I just can't bring myself to shave it again. I should probably just suck it up and shave it. I want to get electrolysis some day.
I mow the lawn, too. It's easy, cheap, and fast. You know, how I like my women. *giggle*
I have been known to use Magic Powder as my depilatory of choice, but it does require some time/effort.
I chose "special snowflake." I shave, but I've waxed before and I'm not afraid of the pain. Actually, I didn't think it hurt that bad. I just don't have the $$ to keep up with it.
What about the option for those that do none of the above?
NOoooo-- just kidding. I voted shave. Wish I had the nerve to wax bc I agree about the itchiness!

Love & luck to my 3TC girls. Congrats to Omega-The boys are here!
If there's one thing I've learned while waiting my turn,
it's that in each life some rain falls but you also get some sun.
After 2 years & 2 losses, our little man arrived 8-2011.
I've been shaving for 7 years and can't imagine waxing. OUCH! I did have the itchiness really bad to the point I had to shave it every day. But that only lasted for about the first year. Now it only itches occasionally.
I shave but i'm interested in trying waxing. But I haven't gotten up the nerve yet. I do have some Vicodin left over from a procedure maybe I could pop one beforehand.
For the girls who have waxed, is it as great as everyone makes it out to be??
After 3 years of waxing and horribly painful ingrown hairs I sprang for laser. It was the best decision I've ever made! Totally worth every Penney, I never have to shave down there or my arm pits just go!

Lucky!!! Sure wish I could afford it!!
I saved for a whole year (I was 21) and payed real close attention to specials. I found a ob/gyn office that had a lady that did lazer and they had just payed off their equipment and they where offering 50% off. It cost about $750 for brazilian and under arms but so worth it...I was paying so much for waxing and shaving didnt work it just cut me with all my ingrowns (TMI).

Agreed!! I'm not willing to let someone get all up in there unless they are a doctor, or they buy me dinner!
This.

I do a little combo shave and use a trimmer. I am scared to shave on the delicate areas
 I don't want a cut.
Once in a blue moon I will use nair.
