The hold up was a cruise planned for Jan 2010 and I had to be less than 24 weeks and didn't want morning sickness...so we are starting in less than a week. So I didn't want to post, but have lurked for 6 months until it was official.

well we have other children as well so its the expense of another child also...

and we thought that we would add me to his (since my company doesnt offer it) after we got married but then we found out that the cost would go sky high so we looked around at individual plans and still no luck...

I love this post! I lurked and posted 6-7 months before we started TTC. Just because you're not TTC, don't be afraid to jump into conversations, build relationships. I made some great friends, and learned a lot that way.

Hey, we are officially TTC in December, although I am off BC now and charting. ?We wanted to wait until December because we are going to Australia and New Zealand in January. ?Obviously there's only a small chance we would get pregnant right away, but just in case we did, I really didn't want to be too far along when we head over there. ?I really don't want to be sick when we're over there (or on the 14 hour flight), and I REALLY need to be drinking wine while we are there!

BC-What's the weather supposed to be like on your trip? I've been surfing caribbean getaways for January (should have been my due date) and I'm trying to figure out how far south I'll have to go in order to return with an amazing tan.

Averages for them are between 75-85 degrees for January.

Okay - I'll come out from hiding. I lurk a lot of Knot/Nest/Bump boards. The reason we aren't TTC yet is because we are waiting for the wedding.

I am staying on BC until the wedding due to the affects my slight hormonal imbalance have on my skin (I don't want to be a pizza face on my wedding day), but the wedding will fall on the last day of a BC pack so I'll be done then and we'll see what happens.

I've wondered about this! I'm always half expecting to "run into" someone I know! Awkward if you don't want them to know. I didn't have a picture for a long time for just that reason.

I think we're ready... just wanting to get some more ducks in a row re: finances so we can be ready for delivery costs, daycare costs, replacing my car with a mom-mobile... not to mention figuring out where work fits in with all this. Also, we have overseas travel plans pending for June 2011 so we're trying to figure out those "what if" logistics as well.
