We had the big U/S today (not finding out sex) and were told that I have an anterior placenta. I'm 18 weeks today with my 2nd child and that explains why I haven't felt any movement yet.
When did you start feeling movement if you have an anterior placenta? I think I read it can move around throughout the course of the pregnancy and may not always be anterior.

I have one, and I haven't felt movement yet. This is my first, so I'm also not sure what movement feels like really, so if it was "flutters" I'm not sure I won't miss it anyways...
I also have placenta previa - my placenta is being all kinds of difficult!
I have an anterior placenta as well. I didn't feel movement until 23 weeks. It became really consistent at 24 weeks.
I asked the u/s tech at my last appt about the placenta moving around and becoming un-anterior (totally not a word...make that work for you) but she said that's not possible. It will migrate upwards the bigger the baby gets, but it will always be anterior.
I've been feeling kicks, etc. since around 19 weeks -- but I have to say, I feel a lot less than with my first pregnancy, when my placenta wasn't anterior. The LO is getting way active right now, at 23 weeks.
The whole anterior placenta thing is kind of bumming me out a bit, though, b/c DH isn't able to feel nearly as much as he could with DD#1.
