I started going in August I think. I initially went for a rash that wouldn't go away but the lady I see also specializes in IF. It definitely made a huge difference with the rash, but it was also at the beginning of my 75 day cycle that needed to be ended with provera.
So yes, I believe that it works. I think it's great to try. I also think it needs to be done in conjunction with traditional meds.

I have been going for smoking cessation and chronic ankle pain.
To me it's alittle weird but this has been the easiest time I've had quitting smoking and while I still have pain it's not as bad. I was limping every morning until it got loosened up, I noticed about a week ago I wasn't limping anymore.
I do have to wonder how much is the "power of suggestion". Either way I'm having a good experience with it and haven't heard of it NOT working by anyone whos gone.
I started going in October-so far I love it. My CM amount has increased-my lp is longer and my PMS symptoms have pretty much gone away. And if nothing else it is SO realxing. My accupuncturist specializes in fertility which is great as well! GL!

I hope you don't mind if I jump in. . . but how did you find and accupuncturist that specializes in fertility? I have tried googling - but the sites are not always clear. GL to all you ladies!

When I found one (but didn't end up going) I got recommendations through my local nestie board.
I'm hoping to give this a shot. A local nestie gave me the name of her acupuncturist, I just need to call my insurance agency and see what coverage I have.

I tried it for TTC (to lengthen my LP) as well as pain relief for sciatic problems I was having.
I really liked it. I read a lot about it in the book The Infertility Cure before going and I also changed my diet according to the recommendations in the book. The cycle I started acupuncture I got my BFP. Although I wouldn't say the acupuncture is why, my cycle did feel different (slightly earlier O, plus O pains which I'd never had before).

There were a handful of GP'ers who used this earlier this year. I'm trying to remember who, but can't do it.
I think two of them got BFP's right away with it and one didn't...
