Austin Babies

*mlf* or any of Seeker's mom's or mom's to be.

I misplaced the instructions for the glucose testing (how responsible, I know...).  I was wondering if you any of you have it and could email or fax it to me?  Pretty please :)

  • i'm not a seeker patient, but i'm 99% sure you drink the delicious beverage (taking no longer than 5-10 min) then show up at the lab for a blood draw no later than 1 hr from when you finished

  • Hey! ?I was just thinking of you and wondering if you had yours this week, too. ?:)

You got the drink at your last appointment, right? ?If so, all you need to do is drink the whole bottle within 5 minutes, and be at the lab in time to have your blood drawn exactly 1 hour from the time you started the drink. ?My appt. is at 11am, so I plan to get in the car at 10am, chug the drink, and be at the lab by 10:30 or 10:45. ?They request that you plan to have the blood draw about 30 minutes before your scheduled appt., I believe.

Oh- they also noted on mine to eat a high protein, low carb, low sugar diet for two days before the test. ?I didn't do this last time (wasn't told to, either) and bombed my GD test.

I'll check my sheet when we get home tomorrow and if it says anything else, I'll let you know. ?Good luck!?
