I'm 26 weeks and can't seem to find an answer anywhere. Does anyone know if edamame is safe to eat at 26 weeks? It's in a Healthy Choice meal I bought and I haven't heard if it's safe or not.
I think the ONLY thing this could be related to the presence of a compound in soy that supposedly mimics estrogen. There are some wacky claims out there that eating lots of soy causes homosexuality in babies. You're going to have to eat a lot of soy for the estrogenic properties to come into play. A few edamame in your frozen dinner aren't going to do anything, and chances are you already eat a lot of things with soy because it is in so many things. I don't hear anyone saying you can't have soy sauce while you're pregnant.

I've heard some people say you shouldn't have it???
