How was everyone's weekend? I have to admit I missed you all a lot! I was going through withdrawls not being able to check in. It would appear that a decent bit went on over Thanksgiving too. I finally allowed myself to listen to Christmas music, and this week we are putting up the tree! What about you GP? Are you ready for Christmas? What are some traditions you have for the holidays?

    I love decorating... I ususally go over board and end up hating myself when it is time to take it all down.

    It does seem like it all came on really fast. I was looking at my calender and realized that there is only this week and then next week (finals) before break. My students are freaking out and now I understand why. I should probably be freaking out (since I haven't done any Christmas shopping) but it hasn't really sunk in yet I guess.

    We got our tree Saturday night and decorated yesterday. It looks nice so hopefully that will kick start the holiday mood for me. Just not feeling it this year so far.
    after 2+ years, 3 failed IUIs, 2 failed IVFs with a c/p
    IVF#3 brought us our miracle baby girl on June 26, 2012

    Totally listening to Christmas music all day today! And I'm so happy that all of my American friends are in the Christmas spirit now!! woohoo!

    I started decorating our new house for Christmas on the weekend - the first thing to get unpacked were our new stockings and nutcracker on top of our fireplace. lol

    Our traditions include new pj's, watching White Christmas on Christmas Eve, a breakfast of OJ and Cinnabons on Christmas Morning - then getting on a plane for sunny Florida! lol It'll be our last trip to Florida to see DH's parents for a few years - so we're taking advantage of it this year.

    Most of the decorations are up inside and out.  Just waiting to get a tree now.

    Traditions:  Christmas Eve at my IL's, Christmas Day at my parents.

    Too many small things to list really.

    Christmas morning we have my mom's 'famous' homemade cinnamon rolls and OJ!! Lucky you getting to go to FL! My DH's father also lives down there and we havent' got to see him in forever! I need to go over to my parents and dig out some decorations from my childhood and sneak them out of the house.

    Do you have a live tree? I have always wanted to have a live one but my father was always against it. Maybe I can talk DH into it some year.
