FF babies - weight

How much weight did your LO gain each week?  Our DS looks to be gaining about 1 pound a week.  He was only 6lbs 5oz when he was born and seems to be up to 11 pounds at 5 weeks 5 days (we go to the doctor tomorrow to confirm actual weight).  He eats about an ounce an hour - I don't feel like he is over eating - it just seems like 1 pound per week might be a lot.

    Did you weigh him?  Is that why you think he's 11lbs. right now?   1lbs. a week is a lot for a baby to gain.

    Trent wasn't gaining weight at the beginning and we ended up having to switch to all formula feeding. Once we switched he was gaining about a pound a week and the doctor said that was perfect. At his one month (which was really like 5 1/2 weeks) he was 10.5 lbs.  He seems to have leveled out and not gaining a pound a week now. He is just over two months and his appt is tomorrow.

    We weighed ourselves and then added him - not real scientific : )  I don't want to put him on a diet... he is only eating 3-4 ounces every 3-4 hours... that seems normal...

    Thanks!  This makes me feel a little better.  We see his pedi tomorrow and of course this will be a topic.
