NIFR Vent

My MIL stayed at our house while we were gone for the week. I come back and the whole place smells like cigarette smoke. She smokes but does not do it in the house. Still it smells. So I am running around like crazy trying to make my house smell better and its not working. It just pisses me off. She needs to stop that nasty habbit and there is no way my future child will spend time at her house with it smelling like that. YUCK!!!

    Eww...gross.

    Crazy how cig smoke can linger and infiltrate everything.

    You should walk into a school and see what the poor kids have to deal with.  Our kindergarten classroom smells like smoke constantly because of the lingering smell on backpacks and coats.  I feel so bad for the kids because they don't have a choice.  I'd be really irritated with MIL and I'd tell her she has to febreeze herself after her smoke breaks  before coming into your house.
