reason 922 that I LOVE BFing

We had my FIL SMIL and BIL all weekend, I was fine for about the first day having them CONSTANTLY wanting to hold my baby, but after like the first 5 hours of not being able to hold my baby, he got a bottle of EM in that time, I finally figured it out. Any time he got even a little fussy we would retreat into our bedroom and nurse.

About every hour I would take him and we would just lay in bed nursing and snuggling. I swear I over fed him all weekend, we got at least 30-60 minutes of us time.

This is seriously a GREAT perk of nursing! I am the ONLY one that can soothe him like this.

I love BFing for this reason too. I've retreated to nurse her before too-if only to have her to myself for a few minutes.

Me too, and the older she gets the more I apprecieate our special time. I can't imagine purposely weaning her at this age (11 months next week), it's such a magical time!

Agreed. My family has been staying with us for a week and I have barely had Olive. I was nursing with my cover in the living room the first few days, but started taking her to our bedroom for feedings the last couple days. H has been coming in and laying in bed with us during our nursing too. It's been awesome quiet family time for us.

Its true! I will definitely be taking advantage of this when we travel to see family this Christmas.
