I just got woken up by a telemarketer.

I FINALLY got to take a nap today, after Delilah fell asleep at 3pm.  I was so so tired and just waiting for her to pass out so I could too.

Fifteen minutes later, my blaring phone woke me up...turns out it was an effing telemarketer.  I about throttled him through my phone.  I tried to fall asleep again, to no avail and now she's waking up.   

You would think that me hanging up on them every.single.time for the five years we have lived in this house would send a clear message that I'm not interested in whatever they've got, but I guess not. 

Boo to telemarketers!

    OMG..I'm usually so rude to the telemarketers that call our house and wake DS up.  I feel sorry for them...

    Ugh....I hate telemarketers, and even more I hate solicitors!  I work nights so I get off work at 7:30am and when someone knocks on my door at 10am trying to sell me windows for my house, or even worse try and pitch their religion to me I get FURIOUS!  I usually make them feel bad by saying "I just got off work 3 hours ago and I'm trying to sleep, what do you want?"  I think I need to invest in a no soliciting sign!

    It makes me wonder...if everyone hates them so much, how do they possibly sell enough to make it worthwhile?  They must have a ton of people that listen and actually buy into whatever they are saying, or they wouldn't have jobs.  I wonder who those people are...I don't know anyone who doesn't either hang up or tell them off!

    Does Australia have a do not call list?

    I got woken up near the end of my pregnancy by a door-to-door window salesman. I told him that he woke me up from my nap and he felt pretty bad.

    I can't stand either type of direct sales like that but I feel sorry for those folks, esp. in this economy.
