I watched the beginning and yes, they did talk about him and showed some pictures from the movie and the same IRL pictures that are shown during the credits of the movie.
I love the movie and it will definitely go in our collection...lol we only have kids movies...so it that good that I would actually buy it.
Steal my kids picture or pretend they are yours, I will find where you live and ship all of their dirty diapers to your doorstep. Promise.
I'm watching. I'm a football junkie. I'm also playing my FIL in FF this week. So far, I'm winning, but I would LOVE for Ray Rice to get another catch.
Pitts killed me last week. Took me out of my big money pool.
Did you see that crazy catch where he broke a couple of tackles and just muscled his way through? He's just rediculous!
I can't believe it's going to overtime. DH is at the game.. it's going to be a late night.
I really enjoyed the movie - I read the book on DH's recommendation and he gave me Michael Oher's Ravens jersey for my birthday, just in time to wear it to a game where NO ONE knew who he was. I think his story is really compelling, and even though I have a few issues with the movie, I really did enjoy it. The fact that he plays for our team just makes it even more awesome.
I just checked and they're still tied up.
The most important game of the day is over (Indy beat houston) so I haven't been watching all of the steelers ravens game.

I'm a Seahawks girl, so I was excited to see them in the beginning of the movie. I agree, its a very compelling story and I would even see the movie again in the theaters. I didn't read the book, so I'm not sure about inconsistencies. I'm actually excited it stood up so well to New Moon.

Well, the book is a football book, so they left out a lot of the football side of things - the history of the position, what specifically made him such a prime candidate for the left tackle position, the way the game of football has changed and how the left tackle played into that, etc. They made a few editorial changes to his story, but for the most part, they told it like it was written, which is good.
I saw New Moon twice and The Blind Side once that weekend... it was a great movie time!
I didn't know who to root for in the Indy-Houston game - I'm a HUGE Peyton fan (he's so dreamy!), but DH picked Houston in his pool at work, and if Houston had won, he would have been a near lock to win...
I really hate overtime.. sudden death makes me very nervous!
He is dreamy I have a huge girl crush on him. I couldn't watch the game I had a wedding at church....I was the coordinator and the photographer! I didn't even find out the ending score till almost five. I'll be honest, I checked the updates on my phone during the ceremony.
Too bad your DH didn't win though. It's worth losing for Indy to keep their winning up. 11-0!!!

I like you... yay for rooting for the Ravens!
DH laughed at me the other day - there was a Peyton commercial that also had the chick from How I Met Your Mother, and I got mad when she showed up - I wanted it to be just him!
In general, I can't root against Peyton or the Colts... unless they play the Ravens
It's definitely been a close game... I have to admit that I'm surprised it's so close since neither Big Ben or Troy are playing tonight...
He was on my FF team last year, but he has really exploded this year.
Alright, Ravens won. Life is good.
Which they already did and Indy won. =D I'm too cocky they're going to choke in the play offs.
