Some good news :)

A few weeks ago, I had a crapload of blood taken to test for clotting factor disorders and thyroid issues.

ALL of it was negative. No clotting disorders, and it's not my thyroid that's causing my anxiety issues. So while it doesn't make our decisions about TTC any easier (a positive clotting factor test would have meant we automatically went to adoption without trying), it's good information to know!

  • That's great!  Sometimes I wish my anxiety was related to thyroid b/c then it'd make more sense.

I was at the ILs for a full week...no interweb fun for me.

Our semester is over in two weeks, and the last week of that is presentations. So with the exception of massive amounts of grading, I'm almost there...UGH. After six years on the quarter system, I'd forgotten how freaking long a semester is.

How has your semester gone? Did your students get any better, or at least any easier to deal with?

  • that's great about everything coming back "normal". i too have some serious anxiety that if only there was a pin point cause, it would be such a relief. ::hugs::

I've always been on semesters, so I guess I'm just used to it.

The semester has been MUCH better, thanks for asking.  Basically, the problem students left, and you know that makes it much easier.  The students I still have, I've grown to love :)
