We're having a friend do family portraits, I have been trying to set up a time to get them done for about 3 weeks now. I would just say screw it and go somewhere else. She is doing them for free though.

I had planned on those portraits for gifts this year to our parents, grandparents, etc. If we don't do it within the next week or so, I know she won't be done editing them in time. If we have to I guess we could just give them out late.

    Assuming she's a good photographer, I would rather save a few hundred bucks and have the photos not be done in time, than make sure everyone has them by Christmas.

    She is a good photog. She has done pics of the boys before. It just feels like I am being avoided. I know she's busy and all, but she could at least answer my call or email.. that's where the biggest frustration is.

    either way I will be happy to have the portraits done. I can't complain because she is saving us a lot of money.
