Moms- Do you have a will?

DH and I have been talking about writing out wills, and who we would want LO to go to if we should leave early. Have you done this? When did you do it, and how?

nope. haven't done this. Maybe I should.

I only have one real thing of value and that is my inheritance from my uncle.

I have one sister, DH has one brother. Both in their 40s. One of them would have to raise her if something bad happened to us.

I really should do one. I have no excuse not to, I've written them up for relatives before and now that we have our LO on the way, we really need to put things in writing.

Not yet, but we need to sort out life insurance and then figure out how it would be split up. Some of it would go into a trust for him, some would go into a college fund, if he decides to go in the US, stipulations around that money if he dones't go or goes in Ireland. We also need to set aside an amount for who will take him to pay for flights back and forth.

We've talked about it and are still working out the details. These are the times when this trans-atlantic stuff is a real PITA
