We haven't been using any kind of birth control since we got married but haven't really been trying yet. I'm a little bit concerned that it's been that long and we haven't ended up pregnant yet. I'm really new to keeping track and charting and all.

First of all, your siggy is great. I LOVE Peyton.
Second, have you started charting yet? If not, you should. This is my first month doing it and has helped to make me feel like I am doing all I can. You should read the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility. Also, to get a better understanding of how to chart, check out fertilityfriend.com .
Welcome & good luck!

It appears you have only been married since June, so 5 months not actively TTCing is nothing to worry about. Once you actively TTC, then a year is when you should seek help.

(hope that doesn't sound snarky, sorry I am drunk)
You got married in June? If your blog is still correct, it's only been 5 months - not a long time at all. It can take a healthy couple up to a year to conceive. Most doctors won't even approve testing until after a year of trying (or 6 months if you're over 35). (And not using protection is trying.)
I agree with the others - consider charting and using OPKs.
Good luck
You've gotten great advice from everyone. Buy the book and sign up on line. It's my first month TTC, and by charting, I feel so much more confident that I would if I had no idea what was going on. Not confident that I'll actually get pregnant right away, but confident because I'll know when I've ovulated and if getting pregnant is even possible. It's very empowering.
Good Luck and Welcome!!
