Mine is sushi. I know, that really doesn't sound warm and comforting. But if I'm depressed or feeling blah, I get a serious craving for it. I grew up in South Florida, so seafood is kind of homey to me, I guess.
Anything carby: breads, cookies, cake, pie, etc etc etc Chocolate--the darker the better This weird pork chop casserole+egg noodle casserole my grandmother makes Soup
It took me a second and then it hit me like a ton of bricks... Sesame Seed Chicken, but only from a restaurant called Golden Crown. Oh I would kill for a plate of it right now. Dang, now I am hungry!
When I don't have access to that (99% of the time) I enjoy cookies, candy, and I really love me some bow tie pasta with alfredo sauce. But I always find that the junkier it is the more comforting it is
