Moving from NB to Size 1 Diapers?

My LO is probably around 10-11lbs right now (really long and skinny) and I keep trying to move her into the Size 1 Swaddlers but her thighs seem too small. When did you move your LO into them and should I just do it and hope she doesn't leak? The NBs are seeming a little narrow in the butt for her but fit okay still.

    I was sad when I moved DS into size 1.  I felt like it meant he wasnt a newborn anymore.

    I use Huggies, and my LO has skinny legs too, but I just velcro the diaper lower on the front panel of the diaper then fold over the excess diaper on top, that way it fits his thighs better.

    I had to put size 1 on my girl today because we are all out of the NB size and dont feel like buying more. They seem really big, but I havent had any leaks or anything. I would guess she is 9+ lbs right now. The size ones say 8+ lbs, but I dont know how accurate that is.

    When she hit 9 lbs...But every baby is built different... if they still fit, and they aren't leaking, yet, I would just use them all up, then switch to size 1's.

    We put DD in size 1's when she was 3 weeks old. I just folded down the waistband and they fit great.

    It was 4wks for us when we switched to 1's.  He was having leaky diapers and the velcro would not even get close to meeting in the middle anymore.  The leaks just started up at 7 weeks again for us and we are in the process of going from 1's to 2's.  He is about 11-12lbs or so and the 2's are still a bit big but we don't have leaky pees or poops either...

    We switched to 1's at about 4 weeks.  I miss NB diapers. :(

    Me too.  DS was 8lbs 9oz a week ago, and we switched b/c we had some size 1 Swaddlers from my baby shower.  They say good for 8-14lbs.  They seem kind of baggy, but aside from the first one which we didn't put on tight enough, no blowouts.

    Maybe my peanut is just tiny....but she is long and skinny at almost 11 weeks she is just over 10 lbs and still in NB diapers!!  I just bought our last pack yesterday bc I tried the #1's and they leaked twice on me....

    I had to put DS in size 1's after about a week.  He wet so much that he would soak right through the NB sizes.

    And yes, I cried when I had to put him in a size 1.  It just meant he was growing up already (PP hormones probably didn't help either).
