I have been lying around tired, nauseas and headachy ALL afternoon. I didn't want to answer my phone so I just let it ring. So my mother shows up on my doorstep to ask if I got my period! Super Angry

Seriously!!! I am not allowed to have one day by myself!! WTF??????

exactly why I don't tell my MIL we are TTC! she'd do the same thing...and I'd be way more annoyed than if it was my own mom (I'm safe from her she lives 300 miles away!)

Physical stuff no...but a tantrum yes!!! She had to pee so I had to let her in. I told her to use my bathroom and get out and never to show up on my doorstep asking me that again!!!!

I made the mistake of asking my mom for advice about TTC, and started getting twice weekly phone calls asking about my period/pregnancy/ovulation symptoms. I had to tell her to back the F off or she was going to get me so stressed out I would never get KU! So, needless to say, I feel you!

I'm almost 34 and have been married for 3.5 years and am being treated for infertility...there comes a point where you just can't hide it anymore.

sorry I don't know the whole story. I certainly wasn't trying to be insensitive...just offering up some humor...my MIL is freaking nutso! Sorry about your mom and the stress. My mom calls me all the time now asking questions. Yesterday I even caught her looking at my paper charts I keep in my planner. Geez Ma can't a girl have some privacy?!

Thanks! I am told that I look young by a lot of people. The parents in my class don't believe that I have been teaching as long as I have. If you could see me up close, I have a lot more wrinkles (especially crow's feet) than in the siggie.

Oh no you weren't being insenstive...I was just explaining. Believe me, I wish my mother didn't know. Last week I told her to keep her mouth shut about the iui and then she says "Oh I didn't know and I told grandma." Now grandma calls everyother day and asks how I'm feeling! ::head desk::

Losing a pet is the worst. Exactly why we're dog-free at the moment. I can't handle it!

Tell me about it. A lot fo the old timers here saw me through the ups and downs of Bobby's battle with cancer and my endless veterinary chemotherapy appointments with him. I thought about not getting another but I just felt the house wasn't a home without a dog.

We had to put my dog to sleep two days before our wedding in September 09. She was only 4 and a half years old, but she had a terrible reaction to her vaccines and the next day she had to be put to sleep. It sucked because I was absolutely devastated and had to get married and put on a smile for my wedding. She was like my child. While on our honeymoon right after the wedding, I had my mom go get me a new puppy because I didnt want to come home to an empty house. This puppy is also like Satan. Shes a handful! I love the new pup but I terribly miss the other one.
