We spent Black Friday at the peds office :(
Not that I was planning on going shopping anyways, but today definitely wasn't the relaxing day at home that I hoped for. I woke up this morning to see that Zoey had thrown up her Thanksgiving dinner all over the crib -yuck! I was hoping that she had just eaten too much or too many new foods all at once, but then when she threw up her breakfast and lunch, I decided I better call the ped. They were able to fit us in today, but we waited over an hour to see the doctor which definitely was no fun. The good news is that she does not have a fever, so it doesn't look like it is seasonal flu or swine flu, but just some sort of intestinal bug. So, dr said to give just fluids the rest of the day today and then if she is keeping that all down today, to start giving her some real food again mid day tomorrow. So hopefully it will just run its course and she will be herself again in a few days.
Poor little thing
