AW: Me and baby on a commercial

When Elizabeth was first born Time Warner Cable and Strong (the hospital I delievered her in) was making a commercial. It's whole point was to encourage high schoolers to get involved with science. When I was in college I was involved in Women Empowered By Science which encourages middle school girls to have fun and like science. Time Warner wanted an employee of Strong who was pregnant or recently delivered as part of their commercial, but there was no one like that available. So my mom, who works at strong, suggested they use me since she knew about my previous involvement in WEBS.

Ellie is 1 week old in the video. We had been discharged 4 days prior but they gowned me up anyway to make it look like I was still a patient I guess. The dr featured does a lot of ACL tear surgeries which happens a lot in soccer and they wanted to also tie in sports to target the high schoolers. Anyway, we are right in the beginning.
