Where do you put your Christmas tree?

I thought I wanted my Christmas tree in front of my one window in my living room. But it really blocks any light and I am not sure I like not being able to see out.

Last year we put it in the corner, but we have new furniture and that really isn't an option.

Where do you guys put your trees? I am hoping that it will spawn a new idea I haven't even thought of yet.

I usually move our furniture temporarily to put it in a corner where it's visible from 2 of the windows in our living room.

Don't have one. Partly because we have no where to put it.

We had this talk yesterday. The only option we have is hanging it from the cieling or putting it in the bathroom. It looks like we may not have one this year. We are going to play re-arrange the house tonight.

I really wish the super skinny ones weren't so expensive. That would have worked out so much better.

We put ours up in the corner of the dining room / living room.

We have a bumped-out picture window, so we put it in there.

we put ours in the front room next to the stairs...pretty much the easiest place to put it with minimal funiture movement...and it's looks pretty good!

The last 2 years we put it on top of our end table in the living room. Our tree is just over 6 feet tall, the table is 2.5 feet tall and about 3 feet wide, and we had/have super tall ceilings. It was nice because it didn't take up any more room than the furniture already did and the dogs couldn't fuuck with it. This year we moved our dining room table out to the garage since we rarely use it anyway and just put it in the little nook that is our eating area. We also considered moving our big chair out to the garage and putting the tree in its place.
