today would have been my last day off work...

but I woke up this morning with a 102 fever.  DH has been taking care of the baby and giving her milk I'm pumping all day so far. I have no idea yet what's wrong w/ me. I felt great yesterday. I have the typical stuff that sounds like the flu, extreme achiness, fever, headache, chills then sweating, and my stomach feels awful. The bad thing is I work in an office w/ one other lady (the rest of our employees are salespeople, service guys, and a manager so they're out all day) and this woman has been the only one in there for 6 weeks.  I found out Friday in an email I just HAPPENED to check that she scheduled tomorrow off.  So I am going to call my manager today and tell her the deal.  My Dr is right around the corner from my office but both are 30 min from home, so that's a long drive feeling like crap. I have a feeling they are going to think I'm going for another day off... Oh well. Bad thing is I have no sick/personal time because they make us use that for one week of our 6 week STD. So it will be unpaid if I do stay home.

well, sorry this is so long but i'm just laying in bed bored and frustrated because everyone has told me not to get anywhere near the baby until I know what I have - so the whole horrible thing I would have had tomorrow of being away from her is starting today.  I keep going to look at DH holding her and I feel so jealous Sad
