Do you bring your pump with you.......

When you go out for a long stretch of time? I bring it to friends/family's houses but have not pumped in a public place.  I am going to a play next weekend and will be gone for an 8 hour stretch.  A GF of mine was telling me that she pumped everywhere while she was breastfeeding, restaurants, parties, the car, etc.  I just wanted to have a day to relax with my girlfriends.  The thought of bringing my pump and excusing myself to a public restroom 3 times alreadt stresses me out.  I don't want to mess with my supply though. WWYD??

     I would bring it, because you'll more than likely get engorged during that time and want to pump. maybe you can do it during the car ride if someone else is driving or something like that....

    I haven't been in that situation yet, but would prob. bring the pump as I would get so engorged from not feeding for that long.

    I don't think one day is going to mess with your supply.   Instead of doing 3 pumping sessions why not do just one or two while your out?  Even if you did just one, it would probably keep you from being in some pain during the day.  I did that a couple of times and skipped a pump here and there.

    We are taking a train.  Maybe I can find a vacant seat and pump there. UGH!!

    I would bring it. I went out last night to a Christmas party & by the end of the night my boobs were so full & sore. I wished I had thought to bring it as I would have gone out to the car to pump.

    I would probably bring it. I bring it when we go to see family, but we went to a football game last weekend and I was gone for 5 hours. When I got home my nursing pads were soaked and it was starting to soak through my bra. Obviously, I really couldn't have pumped at a football game, but if I were going somewhere where I was gone for that long again I would bring the pump.

    I would for sure. I know it seems annoying, but I forgot mine one day when we went on a day trip to the in-laws and totally regretted it. I was so uncomfortable after only a few hours.
