Sunday plans?

So far I am having a nice relaxing Sunday.  The only thing we have planned is to put the Christmas tree up.  DD is so excited!

We put all the outside lights up yesterday and it looks so good.  We only decorated the trees and bushes and then put some lawn decorations out.  DH was against putting any lights on the house (he hates climbing on our slanted roof) but now he says he has the "light bug" and wants to string them along the house.   Woo hoo!

I love Christmas.  Smile

    We are also going to decorate our Christmas tree today. Waiting for DH to retrieve lights and decorations from the attic. DS and I have been waiting since yesterday afternoon!!! I think this is going to be our last year of Santa Clause--DS is 10 years old and starting to question.

    I'm putting up our outside lights today! We only put them up on the wrap-around porch, so no ladders involved.

    I am going to do as little as possible on my last day off.... we are going to DH's dad's for dinner so I don't even have to cook.  Yay!

    I would normally be doing the tree, too, but I have to study ALL DAY for a professional exam on Tuesday, so it will have to wait until next weekend.  I am also going to finish up the turkey soup I started on Friday.  Yum!

    We plan on going to 12:15 mass and then run a couple of errands and then put up our tree!!!!  So excited!!! 

    Tonight is also the night we will have our "leftover" Thanksgiving dinner.  We'll pull everything out and feast again.  Something my family always did the Sunday after Thanksgiving and since we had Thanksgiving here - we have the leftovers (well, my mom took a bunch and they will be eating it today too)   Stick out tongue

    DH and I have had a low key, relaxing morning so far. We have a few errands to run and might motivate ourselves to actually cook something for dinner tonight (we've been living on leftovers and take out since Friday). The house is clean and I only have one load of laundry to do (woo-hoo!), so we'll be able to relax and enjoy our last day of freedom before heading back to work. Ugh!

    DH and I are going out to lunch with some friends and then we are going to get our christmas tree. I love the Christmas season as well. Hope everyone has a fun Sunday!

    We just got back from Mass, and now I need to pay some bills and do some cleaning.  I think I'll spend a bit of time checking out the cyber Monday deals as well.  Happy Sunday everyone!
