Trying to Get Pregnant

Tell Me About O Pain

What does it feel like and where do you usually feel it?  I'm not sure if what I'm feeling right now is O Pain or one of my cysts acting up.

Re: Tell Me About O Pain

  • A sharp twisting pain that is most noticeable if I stand up suddenly.

  • I feel extremely gassy and crampy (being in the fetal position makes it feel better).  It happens the day I get my positive OPK in the mid afternoon and lasts through the night (I don't wake up the next day with it).

  • The best way I can describe it is like having swollen glands in my lower abdomen and groin. It's sort of like a bad bloat, but only on one side, and only lasts a few hours at most.

  • Felt like the side I was Oing on was going to explode. Usually hurt for a few days after as well. It reminded me of when I had a cyst, that was how strong mine were.
  • I always describe it as "twingy pain" not cramps, but sudden and sharp feelings.
  • I get both and have a hard time telling the difference unless my cyst is huge then I know because I cant move without stabbing pain.
