Ditto to what Jibbelle said, also I would pack nail clippers and little emery boards. Um...maybe also a baby book to get the footprints, a pair of socks, some no-scratch mittens, a baby hairbrush, a warm blanket...
We have going home outfit (which includes socks, booties, cap, mittens), 2 receiving blankets, warm blankets, nail clippers and emery boards, small thing of wipes- I think that's it!
I packed an outfit and warm blanket (that are sealed in a bag so we don't know if it's for a girl or boy-only the Kohls cashier knows), two receiving blankets (one girl, one boy), a newborn onesie, a 0-3 month onesie, some white socks since the outfit doesn't have feet, a hat, and a pink headband just in case. We haven't even bought diapers yet! We have a tradition of going to Target after leaving the hospital so we will get diapers then, and we'll let our other two kids each pick something out for the baby.

I packed a paci, a blanket [for the carseat] a hat and an outfit. They gave us a billion diapers and wipes when we left [which I heard to expect] so we didn't pack any of those. We only live a mile from the hospital so it's not like we had to go far and we weren't making any stops.

How incredibly freakin awesome! Wish I could be like you and have a bag of clothes packed and not take a peek. We have LOTS of cute white stuff with ducks on it because I have issues with suspense or secrets. This Team Green thing is kinda killing me. Only thing keeping us on track is that I never let anyone write anything in any envelope and asked for no U/S pics of the anatomy to go home with us...no turning back now. I admire you
Re: What to Pack in Baby's Bag?
