  I would do the same thing. Sometimes it can be implantation bleeding but it could be early spotting. Best of luck to you!

  Why do you suspect implantation bleeding above anything else?  Especially if your periods are irregular?  Is it just spotting or does it require a pad/tampon?

  If it is implantation bleeding it is too soon to get a positive pregnancy test.  Wait a week and test again if AF doesn't show up. I highly recommend checking out fertilityfriend.com and taking the tutorials even if you choose not to chart, good info on what is actually going on with your body when ttc.  If you've recently come off birth control sometimes it takes awhile to straighten your cycles out. GL.

  IF it's implantation bleeding, then you won't get a positive test result for several days. After the egg implants your body needs time to produce enough of the HCG hormone required for a + test.

  thanks guys, i didnt have any bleeding with DS and i have NEVER spotted before. so i wasnt sure, i thought i was pregnant before i started spotting and also got a neg test last week but i didnt know where on the time line implantation spotting actually occoured
