Looking for a Christmas-tree farm down South

I want a real tree this year! (Well, technically, we have a fake one, but it's too small now and I don't want to pay full price for a new one so I am waiting until after Christmas.) Does anyone know of a good place in Pierce County? We went to Spooner Farms for pumpkins, but they don't do trees.

  • not pierce county but we just went to a new tree farm (local, family owned, you-cut) by our house on green valley road in auburn. i was really impressed with them. they have a big sleigh and you can have pics taken with santa and he walks around passing out candy canes and the best part is that they are all only $27.50!!! i remember in the past going to other places and the trees being like $60+. too bad i dont know the name of it but if you take the exit off highway 18 and head out towards flaming geyser park, its on the right hand side about 3 miles down the road.

  • Last year we went to the Double Four Tree Farm on 72nd in b/w Tacoma & Puyallup.  We cut our own.  We're going back there this year.
  • If you're looking for a tree farm you can look at this sight and choose a place https://www.pscta.org/central.htm.  The only downside is that it doesn't tell you how much the trees are going for.
  • Orting has many tree farms and a handful of them are nicely priced
