Which stores carry nursing bras (in-store)?

I live just outside of Cary/Apex and I would like to go shopping for nursing bras.   Any idea which stores in the triangle carry them in-store (other than motherhood)?

  • Target, JC Penney, and the Hanes Outlet (closest one is in Morrisville) carry a small selection. GL!

  • I got Bravado ones online and they were great (for the short time I nursed). I know Rex Hospital sells those. You can also try Motherhood Maternity in addition to the places Hughes mentioned. I got my sleep bra's from there and they were good too.

  • Target carries them too
  • Thanks ladies!!!
  • I bought mine at the hospital after she was born, figuring the sizing would be more accurate by waiting until after she was born.  I bought 1 to start and then more a couple weeks later.  Good luck!

  • I agree with PP.  Buy the nursing bra AFTER your milk comes in.  Your breasts will change sizes during pregancy, after delivery, and after the milk comes in.  I went from a 34DD to a 40DDD during pregnancy to a 36F when my milk first came in and now I'm a 34DD again (I'm still nursing).  I loved the Anita bra when I was a 36F.  It's nearly impossible to have boobs that big and still have a supportive bra.  In the end I am wearing the Hanes nursing bras and I think they are awesome.  I bought them at the Outlet in Morrisville.  They are super supportive and were about $15 ea.  I think I paid almost $70 for the Anita bra so the Hanes bras were a steal.
  • Yup, Rex has a lactation store that carries them. I've heard great things about them. Otherwise, I bought 7 nursing tanks from Target and I've worn them every day for the last year. I normally wear a L or XL in shirts, and I had to get an XL for the tanks. They aren't good for women with tittahs over 36c-ish pre pregnancy.
