My husband getting up all night with the baby, my husband getting up in the morning with the baby, and my husband taking care of the baby all day long. It equals me getting lots and lots and lots of sleep. I really wish I wasn't sick so I could enjoy his more.
On another note, I'm really jealous that my husband can get Natalie to nap in her crib for longer then 15 minutes. Why doesn't she do that for me??
Re: Being sick on the weekend=
This exactly. I would kill for some sleep right now...home with the flu & LO has a viral infection...but it's still me getting up all night & day with the baby. Be thankful.
SAM: I hope you feel better quickly, enjoy what you can of the sleep.
above posters: I'm sorry your husbands aren't stepping up to help out when you're sick, that really sucks. If they are readily available and refusing, I'd be very passive aggressive and resentful toward them, that's just not right. I hope you feel better soon.
