I'm assuming my dr. will want me to call it quits around 37 wks, but I'll confirm that with her. I'm continuing w/ my elliptical workout and yoga classes until told otherwise. It's not about trying to stay in shape, it's just that it makes me feel so much better and more calm.

don't stop unless you have to! Maybe your lo will pop out in "child's pose" or "downward dog" ...seriously, I think it's great that you doing so much. If you body feels ok doing it...AND dr's give blessing. GO FOR IT!
I am using the eliptical machine a few times a week and doing yoga.So far, my doctor is fine with it. I am wondering when I should stop.
Why would you plan to stop if all is healthy, feeling ok and your Dr approves? I never planned to stop anything unless I had to. I think my job got more in the way than anything and now that I'm almost 39 weeks its hard to do much although I still try to walk.
Everyone tells me to swim but even if I had access to a pool where am I going to find a cheap swimsuit to cover my huge belly for just a few weeks? Not worth it.
There was a woman in my yoga class the other night who was having contractions....she promised she'd leave if they got to be 7 minutes apart. Talk about exercising until the end!
I'm working out until i can't work out anymore, I also do alot of things around the house in case I can't make it to the gym. I want to stay as active as possible unless the doctor says differently.
I do elliptical 30 minutes 5 times a week and weights 3 times. I did a 45 minute one this morning. Trying to help LO get into position. I will keep working out until the end!

I was doing really good, going to yoga every week, and walking to the store as much as possible.... And then I went on vacation, and I haven't been to yoga since I might start going again once we get the house decorated and and the nusery at least started, but I kinda doubt it. I just wanna relax!
I'll stop when I go into labor. I ran and walked about 18 miles yesterday. I just got home from running stairs at Red Rocks Amphitheater for an hour (concert venue with a few hundred stairs made out of rock). On weekdays I'm at the gym for about 2 hours each morning before work (running, lifting heavy weights, group fitness classes, prenatal pilates). People at my gym joke that I'll go into labor there :-)

That's basically what happened with me, which is why I'm assuming I'll be cut-off around 37 wks. But that's what dvd's and long walks are for
