I want to try OPKs this cycle.  What brand does GP recommend?

Thanks :)

Re: OPK

  • I use whatever I can find the cheapest on ebay.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

  • I used the strips from saveontests.com. they seem to work fine for me.
  • I use www.early-pregnancy-tests.com and they are about $1 each for the kind you dip.  They also have midstream ones for a bit more.

Some people really like the digital (smiley face) ones, but they are way too expensive, IMO.

  • Ordering them online is the cheapest way to go.  But also, if you want something right now The Dollar Tree tests work great!  GL!

This is the case for me as well.

    Lilypie First Birthday tickers
  • I use Clear Blue Easy digital, but they are pretty pricey.

  • Thanks ladies.  I think I will probably order them online.  Any tips on how to get the best results?  I want to start using them, because I think that I o'd earlier in my cycle than FF said, so this cycle I want to be sure.

  • I use the digital (smiley faces), I would rather spend the money then guess.

    This.

  • I've been using the earlypregnancytests.com ones too and they've worked great, but I've heard you can get great deals on Amazon, so I think I'll do that next cycle.

My only tip is to do it in the afternoon, not in the morning, because LH builds up throughout the day. I've always done them when I get home from work, as late as 6pm, and gotten accurate results.

  • I like the first response OPK's, I cannot hold my pee longer than 2 hours so I never get positives on the dollar tree tests but the First response ones work great for me.
