DS hates carseat

in Babies: 0 - 3 Months

My DS hates being in his carseat, he will cry the entire time he is in it.  Some times he will be fine for a little while, but most times he is crying.  We give him a pacifier and that only works for a little while. 

Does anyone elses LO hate the carseat?

    YES!!!!!!!!!!!! He screams like someone is beating him.  It's horrible!

    Have you checked to see if he's too hot or too cold?  Maybe something on the seat is poking him?  Maybe the straps are too tight?  Do you make sure to feed and check his diaper right before putting him in?

    We have tried all these things--and done all these things--and nothing seems to be the "trouble."  He just flips the hell out.  I don't know what it is.  He literally screams himself exhausted and falls asleep...I hate it.  I cry every time we're in the car b/c of it.

    I also have checked everything, he will start to scream right when we put him in the seat.  It really sucks.

    My DS hates it too! I recorded the blow dryer on one of those little tape recorders (he loves the blow dryer and always quiets down when I turn it on) and put it in his car seat today by his feet and he was quiet the whole 10 minutes to Borders and home! My friend gave me this suggestion. She recorded one of the sounds from a white noise machine that her baby liked. What crazy things we do for our kids!

    DD hated her infant carseat.  We switched her to a convertible when she was 4 months old.  Never had a problem after the switch.

    If it is upsetting you to hear him cry so much then you might just switch to the next seat.

    You're not alone! My baby girl hates hers as well. Thankfully it is getting a little better.

    My baby girl hates it too and I put her in it every day and take her for a car ride to see if it would get better with time. No such luck =(
