This post makes me want to punch someone. Anyone. (not you)
WTF? It's almost creepy.
That kid is going to be clinging to the apron strings FOREVER. God help the girls and women he dates. Also, he's going to get the shiit beaten out of him.every.day.
ETA: LOLOLOLOL!!! I thought she was talking about her son.

LMAO I love you wee. I don't think it would be AS bad (to me) if she were calling a little kid that. Nope! Her freaking DH!
Let me add that they're fairy loving people. Like... love fairies so much they had them on top of their wedding cake!
She's
had pictures of herself as an adult taken as a fairy - like the little
photo place you see in the middle of the mall with the watercolor-y
muslin background that you can dress a baby/small child up for their
pic. I wouldn't even do that w/a kid but as an adult?!?!
My husbands name is Josh, I call him Joshie sometimes. Not in public, definately not on FB....but between the two of us I don't see what the big deal is.

LOL, I think this is funny that pet names were brought up.
Never have I *EVER* called Tony by something so silly. To me, doing that to someone's name sounds really infantile. Instead, at the beginning of our relationship, knowing that we'd probably get down and dirty with the pet names, we decided to come up with a unique pet name for each other. Yes, we're both guilty of calling each other these names in public and on our social sites, but it's something special to us that we never get tired of.
His name for me: Sweetest Heart
My name for him: Pookie-bear (because I love Garfield and that was the name of Garfield's teddy bear)
Now some people can get downright annoying about it...like calling their DH by repetitive "sweet" names every five seconds, ie - babycakes, sugarbutt, sweet lips (yes y'all, I went there...), honeybunch, angelfish, etc etc. The list goes on. However, we're very careful about how we utilize each other's pet name. I may only use it once an hour, and then use "Tony" or "Baby" to get his attention. "Jessie" or "Babe" goes for him when vice-versaing roles. For people like Tony and I, this is special because we've not spent one day apart from each other yet, and we've been together almost two years. We're TTC right now and now we have to come up with a special name for our future little one. Being just married, y'all have to understand that people show their affection in different ways...and for some people, it's one of those things that actually has to be sat down and discussed. My ex didn't like holding my hand in public and I'm a VERY affectionate person. I don't like making fights public, and he was very dramatic about any time we had an argument.
With our relationship, communication has been so successful, so putting a little sugar into words can't hurt too much if you're just trying to get your message across, but you have to "feel" each other out to find your boundaries, likes, and dislikes.
MrsTony, you might want to seriously consider removing so much personal information from your Bio and consider changing your screen name. It would be way too easy for someone to get your address or other personal information with the amount of things you have in your Bio. Just internet safety!

MH name is Vance and his mom calls him Vancey. He has always HATED it. And makes it very clear he won't tolerate anyone else calling him that. Then my dd, his sd, started using it. At first he was like No way, but he completely softened up about it. lol He actually really likes it now that she calls him that. He now says only two people on earth are allowed to call him that! Too cute!
