silly MIL comments (btw, I <3 my MIL).

1. MIL-----"what about Mia for a girl?"

Me: "I love the name Mia, but since that is my sister's 6 year old daughter's name it won't work."

MIL: "really, is that too close?"

geez! LOL

2. MIL---- "I KNOW you're having a boy!"

my response--"yeah, you said that the last time too. even after the CVS test said girl you still swore S was a boy". lol

Oh yes, be prepared for annoying comments even from those you love throughout your pg. And if you find out you're having another girl- well, those are especially fun. I can't tell you how irritated I got after finding out we were having our second DD & people would immediately say "So...you gonna have a 3rd now to try for that boy!" I would always sweetly say something along the lines of "Well, we're actually thrilled to be having another healthy child." Makes them feel like an a-hole without coming out & saying it

My Mom swears this baby is a boy too. She also claims she was the only one that guessed girl when I was pg with DD. She and DH are the only ones that know I am pg right now and they are both pulling for a boy. I think it's funny how people always "know" something no matter what you tell them.
