Pregnant after a Loss

XP: Seattle/WA mommies help with shopping!

Hi mommies of the Northwest. I'm coming down from Vancouver to do some shopping in Seattle and I'm hoping you can give me some tips. Is there one Gap Maternity that is better than another?  Is there a Target that has a good selection?  I appreciate your help - the selection up here sucks and places like the Gap don't mail to Canada Sad

  • I normally go to the Gap Maternity in downtown Seattle.  There is also A Pea in a Pod (upscale clothes) in Pacific Place and a Motherhood Maternity(I like the cute shirts) in Westlake.

There is also a Gap Maternity at University Village.  At University Village, there is another Maternity store --Village Maternity--more upscale --very nice.  And there is a Land of Nod and Pottery Barn Kids--if you want to look at baby stuff.

  • Well, if you are actually going into Seattle, the 5th and Pine Flagship Gap is your best bet.  It has separate floors for each department, and the best maternity selection in the area. You'll be close to all of the big clothing stores.

If you don't want to go quite that far south, the Alderwood Mall is a fantastic place to shop.  It's in Lynnwood- about 25 minutes north of downtown Seattle.  It has every store you can think of, but the Gap there does not have a maternity section.  The only Gaps that do have maternity are University Village in North Seattle or 5th and Pine in downtown Seattle.

As an employee at Gap, I just go to 5th and Pine for my maternity needs.  Otherwise, Alderwood is my fav place to actually shop.

    HTH!

  • Thank you ladies! Since I'm coming down anyways I'm going to head all the way downtown. It gives us a chance to see the city which we love :)
