Well this is my first post and definitely not my last. I have just recently started TTC baby #1. It's so amazing to find this site and realize I am not alone. I am having a hard time so far. My periods are 45 cycle days. Supposedly I should be ovulating right around the next few days. Can anyone share their symptoms of ovulation? I have been TTC for 2 months now. No luck so far. I am hoping to get lots of advice and maybe hear some positive stories. Hope I am not asking too much. Thanks ladies.

    Welcome!! My symptoms were: Watery CM, and cramping of one ovary.. GL

    Read the book, explore the website and lurk here - you'll find most of your questions have been asked and answered.

    Hehe I have already discovered Fertility friend thanks to my iPod. I haven't explored their site to much but I am getting there. I will check the book out to thanks.

    I'm in month four of TTC, so I haven't taken the plunge yet and started charting or using OPKs.  But I can tell really well when O is suppose to happen based on my CM (always 4-5 days of clear, stretchy EWCM) and pain in my ovaries.  The day after I think I Oed, the CM always dries up right on schedule ;)

    Thanks for the replies girls. It's so frustrating what a waiting game this all is. Then it's like I get all excited because I think I am and then I take the pregnancy test and it's negative :(. Well I have been tracking my CM this month so hopefully this will help me out. It's just so weird that even if you have sex while ovulating there is still the chance you wont get PG.

    Good morning and welcome!   Regarding your CM, tracking it will help you out, but if you want to know for certain that you've ovulated, you will need to track your temperatures.  CM is an ok indicator, but your body can gear up to O (produce fertile CM, etc.), then not actually O at that time.  I feel like temping takes a lot of the guess work and stress out of the process. 

    As pp's said, check out fertilityfriend.com and see if you think it will work for you.  For me, it's not as time consuming as it looks like it's going to be -- just take your temp in the morning right when you wake up, and that's it!  GL!!!
