Why it would be nice to get a BFP this month

It seems that every month I have some reason for why it'd be the PERFECT month to get a BFP besides the obvious fact that I want a BFP every stinkin' month and don't care when it comes. (And now that I'm on cycle 17 and the months have started repeating themselves, I remember why it would have been great LAST year at this time and that just depresses me.)

Anyway, this month it'd be GREAT because I'd be finding out about it while on our cruise. MIL, her boyfriend, and one BIL will be on the cruise with me and DH so it'd be so much fun to tell them while on vacation together! Not to mention being able to share the news around the holidays. Oh, and another reason (very superficial of course) would be that it'd be AWESOME not to have AF on vacation! lol...

Anyone have a specific reason why this cycle would be "perfect"? (Besides the fact that we're all hoping for BFPs no matter what cycle it is!)

For me, last cycle would have been perfect because I could have told my parents in person that I was PG. I told them over the phone with our DD...so I would have loved to have told them in person (they're here for Thanksgiving right now).

Now...I'll take a BFP anytime!

I will def take a BFP anytime but my parents are home for a month for Christmas and then they go back after New Years Eve so it would be perfect for us so we can tell them in person. And...I really really really want it! Wink

Being able to tell family at Christmastime as a "gift". I already have a few ideas that I'm trying not to think about too much so I don't get too disappointed if I get a BFN. Also, I'll see my BF from HS at the end of December so I'd get to tell her in person, and I'll be seeing my three BFs from college at the beginning of January and would get to tell them in person.

It would be great to get my BFP this month because I will be going home for Christmas and IF I am, then I could tell my family in person, instead of over the phone. It would be awesome to tell them in person and see their faces. We won't be going back to my hometown for probably another 9 months after that, so this would be my only shot to tell my parents in person about their first grandbaby Smile

I do the same thing, coming up with reasons every month! This month would be perfect because I'd get my best birthday present ever. Also, my doc is suggesting testing and moving on to an RE, but we decided to wait until after the holidays. It would be great to cancel that appointment.

DH and I (as of right now) are planning on starting IUI in January as well. Not with injectables, at least not at first, but on Clomid. I am VERY hesitant to begin that whole process. Ugh. Yet another reason for wanting a BFP soon!

We're going on vacation as a late Christmas in January with DH's family. It would be so perfect to be able to tell them then!

This will be the last month (for a few) that I can take 12 weeks maternity leave and not miss the super busy year-end at work. It sounds like a dumb reason but I would really be sticking my colleagues with a lot of extra work and would likely wind up doing some of it while on leave, which I don't want.

DH and his whole family have winter birthdays and he keeps telling me how awesome it would be if our baby had a summer birthday. So it would be perfect if I got a BFP this month,he would be so happy. Still I'll take a BFP whenever!

Of course, like everyone else I'd like a BFP at anytime... this month would be perfect because it would be just in time for DH's birthday and christmas. What a perfect season to celebrate. Also, both my bday, DH bday, and our anniversary are in the winter, we would love to have a summer bday to celebrate.

I would like a BFP this month because

1. I just want one.

2. I would be due in Aug/Sept and I think 3 months maternity leave then would be fabulous.

3. My nieces and nephews want a cousin.

This cycle would be the perfect cycle because.... With holiday visitors, we won't be able to try next cycle. Boo! Also, next year I'll be able to bring home a baby when he or she is at their cutest (3-4 months) for Christmas.

Every cycle would be perfect for one reason or another... this cycle would be great because IF it were a boy, they'd be almost exactly two years apart. But next cycle would be great because it would be a September birthday, we wouldn't have to decide about holding back another August baby from school and we could tell everyone over Christmas. And last cycle would have been great because we could have told everyone over Thanksgiving.

Last cycle would have been perfect because I would have tested a couple of days before our first anniversary! That would have been so nice!

This cycle would be nice simply because I want a BFP. This was my "lucky" cycle the first time around. When I was 17 and definately NOT ttc! lol If I get ku this cycle he/she will have the same birthdate-ish as my DD.

If I got a BFP this cycle I would be due on my Mom's birthday!!!! It would be her an my dad's first grandchild so I had thought of all kinds of cute ways to tell them we were pregnant over Christmas! *sigh*

It would be perfect because the day I would test would be my birthday! Then it would be a extra fun Christmas present a week later to tell my IL's in person and my parents thru mailing them a special delivery of T shirts saying something like "world's best Grandma"
