I saw one of your responses below that said "Clomid isn't candy." What are the risks of it that you know? Just curious because I used it this cycle and I do feel uneasy about it but am afraid to google because internet info on that stuff freaks me out.![]()
I know it's not wise of me to take meds without being so well informed...but at this point I'm willing to take risks to have a baby.

It's my understanding that adverse effects include cysts, ovarian hyperstimulation, as well as the unpleasant side effects of hot flashes, mood swings, etc.
The "it's not candy" reference is also to acknowledge that sometimes it's prescribed unnecessicarily--like when people already ovulate or ovulate within a normal (yet later) range.
I think there are a lot of overly anxious, impatient people in the world who turn to prescription drugs before finding out if there is really a problem--or a problem that can be solved through other natural means.
You, my friend, don't belong in either category. ;-)
