Hi, I was supposed to be 7w 2d on Tuesday when I had to go to the ER due to spotting brown blood and cramping on my left side. After a 5 hour visit, an u/s and a hcg blood test it was determined that I did not measure anywhere near 7w and my hcg was only 384.
Basically, I was told to sit and wait until tomorrow morning - get another hcg so we can verify the count is going up or down. Since then I have had bright red bleeding- no real cramping and not too heavy. My doctor says we should wait until we get the bloodwork to verify a miscarriage but in my mind and heart I already know what is going on.
This is my first pregnancy, to top it off one of my sister's (I have 3) and my sister in-law both are due in June. My sister's announcement to the family was today- I already knew. No one but my 1 sister knows about this micarriage.
I have read through many of these posts and it is very nice to know that I am not alone in this process. My husband has been very supportive but doesn't fully understand how I feel- as I would not expect him to.
Thanks again!

I am so sorry that you have had to join us here, but if you had to than you have come to the right place for support and people to understand what it is like.
I know that there is nothing I can say to make you feel better, or to feel as if this loss was part of a bigger picture, cause there are no words for it. All I can tell you is that I am here for you. I offer you BIG HUGS and my thoughts. Sadly we all know the feeling of a loss (even though we all heal and feel differently), and a lot of us know what it is like to have to be around close women who will be due around the same time as we were supposed to. I know that I do. We will be here for you as long as you need us, and some of us will be be there for you passed that point. Keep in touch and let us know how you are doing!
So sorry for your loss.
Sending warm hugs your way,
Mary
I went for my blood work this am, the levels dropped to 40, so it is definitely a miscarriage. I actually went shopping with my two older sisters (not the preg one) and told them. They have both experienced miscarriages so they were very sympathetic and helpful. It was nice to have my sister support and from people who have been there. Thanks again! I am sure I will be around here more.
