But Im only 2w3d Post partum and my man is looking very sexy these days. It sucks to resist, and sucks that your contracting uterus and soreness remind you that you cant. Owch. I feel like I need will power to just leave him alone because although I want to do the deed I would enjoy foreplay right about now but thats just teasing him. WHAT TO DO!

    Man, we were restricted from sex since my 3rd month of pregnancy and yet I didn't want him near me at 2 wks pp!  I still barely have the drive to want it as much as I did before.

    omg me too! i am 2 weeks 1 day PP and for some crazy reason i am so tempted but i would never till im cleared from the doc (i had an uncomplicted vag. delivery as well).. i guess the thought of not being able to do it makes us want it more (and maybe the PP hormones haha) Stick out tongue

    Umm..not such a great idea.  There is a good reason they say to wait.  When the placenta pulls away from the uterine wall it creates what is essentially an open wound.  It needs to heal and until a dr or MW clear you it's just not worth risking the infection that you can get.

    FWIW, they also say no tampons for the same reason.  Nothing in the vagina for 6 weeks, or until a dr says you are okay.
