That is shocking! How is she doing with it all? Has she made any choices about the baby?
Oh wow! What a hard road for something that young.
I know several doulas who do teen births for free. If she wants some references, let me know.

i could be super snarky here and go oh well .. that's antioch for you but i won't.
i wish her the best with whatever decision she chooses .. a baby is an enormous responsibilty for a grown 30something let alone someone half her age.

That really sucks that she has to make that decision. I hope that she gets the guidence and support she needs.
that sounded wrong. What i mean is I hope no matter what her decision is, even if its keeping the baby, that she has the support and guidence.
That floored me, and I wasn't even there! I can't imagine how hard it would be to go through something like that.

If this is the case, it will be a tough road. Definitely possible to have a happy ending though. My job allows me to work with a lot of young moms and one of the first things I do is to link them to Brighter Beginnings. See if they have something similar to this program where your cousin lives; they help with a multitude of things...parenting classes, support in finishing school, getting linked to social services, etc.

Such a young age to be dealt a big decision. I pray that she has the support from those that love her to help guide her in the best possible decision for her and this baby....whatever that choice may be.
My thoughts are with her.

Wow what a tough hand to be dealt. I am with everyone else who has said they hope she has lots of support. Amanda, I know this is family but many times when young teens get pg there are other factors happening too: abuse, rape, or even molestation. I am not saying that is the case here but I am saying you might want to look closely just in case. Big Hugs to your whole family, I hope what ever she decides it still gives her a fighting chance of having a life too.
Oh gosh, poor dear. Hugs to your niece. I can't even imangine having to deal with pregnancy that young. It's hard enough to deal with when you're an adult.
