We have 2 options for our nursery - the smallish office that's right next to our room and warmer b/c of only one outside wall and one window or the larger guest room that's down the hall (not far - small house!). DH wants to use the office, but I think it's too small.
If you know how big your nursery is and that everything fits well, I'd love your input. No need to share if you have a huge nursery b/c neither of our options will be a big room. TIA!
Re: If you know the sq footage of your smaller nursery and have your furniture, please share.
Not sure what you consider huge, but my nursery is 12x10 and now that everything is in there it seems pretty tight with a decent size in the middle to place a play mat and give us some room to play.
We have a crib, a dresser/changer, a glider and a bookcase as far as furniture goes.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

Here is a page of small rooms and what they fit. Most rooms under 8X10

Ours is like 10 1/2 x 12 but 2 walls are more or less unusable due to low windows & closet doors.... we have 2 cribs (they are back to back with the short sides against the wall, only way they'd fit), a large upholstered glider & ottoman & a dresser that doubles as changing table. It is super tight b/c of the way the cribs are placed. If we had only one crib flush against the wall, b/c of the way the windows & closet are, I'm not sure we could put anything else really in there without being in front of a window anyway.
GL! Below is the website I used where you can create the measurements of hte room, including windows & doors that open into the room, etc and then pieces of furniture & 'arrange' them all different ways- it was really helpful for me to plan out a few things & then see what worked IRL (which was something different than I thought on paper).
